As I held my New Year’s Personal Planning Day today, I looked back at this past year and just marveled.

A year ago, I sat in the same Panera coffee shop and jotted down notes and budgets, wondering if I’d have a baby in the coming year, pondering what it’d be like to adopt, making my cleaning charts and budget charts…

Who would have imagined what the year would have held?

How could I have imagined that in 2013 I’d have two miscarriages, one surgery, (lots of medical bills) and, amazingly, usher in the next year at ten weeks pregnant?

What a year.

My blog has grown tremendously this year, as well. Last January, I had zero “followers,” and not even a Facebook page. Now I’m a contributor to three of my favorite sites and am continually amazed to see people from all over the world that I don’t even know commenting on and reading my posts.
