Here is my review: This is AMAZING. It tastes like a rotisserie chicken, truly! So easy, too!
(food.com recipe)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
pinch chili powder
whole chicken
4 peeled garlic cloves
onion, quartered
- Stir together spices in a small bowl.
- Skin chicken and rub with spice mixture.
- Place chicken breast-side down with garlic and onion inside cavity, in a crock pot. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8.

Super delicious and fall-off-the-bone tender. Our chicken was still frozen but I still stuck it in and gave it 10 hrs on low and it was done perfectly (double-checked with the meat thermometer). We’re going to do it again this week and make chicken tacos with it. We love crock pot recipes – thanks!
