Be A Different Kind Of Mom

10 best books I read in 2022

Most of you know I’m an avid reader. I didn’t read quite as much in 2022 as I would have liked, but I read some good ones! Here were my favs:

Bronze Bow: Fiction I read for the class I teach at our homeschool community. I loved it. Truly inspiring.

12 Rules for Life: Prob my favorite read of 2022. I read it and then immediately began re-reading. So well done.

Habits of the Household – I read this and found it so inspiring that I asked my husband to read it too! He’s really enjoying it as well.

Yes a cookbook changed my life.

I LOVE Mama Bear Apologetics. Super helpful and impressively accessible to the average mom.

This book (The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self) was very difficult to read (like a textbook) but I was very satisfied when I pushed through and finished it. Very insightful.

Easy read by my girl Allie Beth. I expected it to be predictable and cliche (maybe the hot pink cover LOL?) but it was poignant and encouraging.

I really enjoyed this book. Very similar to Habits of the Household. Of the two, I liked Habits of the Household best…I think? They are both really encouraging for parents “in the thick of it”!

This was a re-read. I adore Monica and she has so much wisdom. I got new ideas from the book the second time I read it since I now have a teenager and a pre-teen!

Everyone is sick of me talking about these boys, a series about a country parson in the mountains of North Carolina. But they are so good. I finish one, start the next, and when I get to the end of the series I start again. Maybe this is weird. 😉
