Weekend Reads

We spent a wonderful week at the beach this week! I loved our late summer vacation! I asked my son (4) what his favorite thing this week was, and he said, “Dad.” I couldn’t think of a better answer. 🙂

Here are some things I’ve enjoyed reading this week:

These books:

• The Duck Commander Family: How Faith, Family, and Ducks Built A Dynasty, by Willie and Corrie Robertson
• The Ministry of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson

These articles:

• My favorite thing about back to school by Simple Homeschool. This almost made me cry. I totally get exactly what she’s saying.
• Crock Pot “Beenie Weenies” – Is it dramatic to say this is a brilliant recipe? I don’t think so. I promise you if you read this, you will not only learn how to make beenie weenies in the crock pot, but also laugh out loud for three minutes. Not all recipes can do that, you know.
• And from our Saturday Pinterest Party, I enjoyed Trader Joe’s Menu Plan and Grocery List. She has some easy dinner ideas from Trader Joe’s!
