Happy Weekend! This week we had the thrill of visiting a local raptor center. My kids were enamored with the owls, hawks, and falcons! It was an inexpensive treat! If you have one, I highly recommend.
Here’s a few links I enjoyed reading this week.
- Last week I shared”9 Questions About Syria You Were Embarrassed to Ask.” If you didn’t read this article, it is really worth a read. It’s hard for me to realize sometimes there is a world beyond snotty noses and household budgets, but this is to my shame. Reading this article opened my eyes to the horrors happening right now, and perhaps for many, many years, across the globe.
- In response to this, Rachel Held Evans posted “When It’s Too Big: A Reflection on Syria.” This was less facts, more heart.
- On a lighter note, I loved “The 50 Most Perfectly Timed Photos Ever.” Some of these are just awesome!
- Finally, from one of my favorite modern authors, Sally Clarkson, “Give your children the Gift of a Happy Mama.” This is an easy, beautiful read.
- The post I loved from last week’s linkup was “Healthy Snacks For After School.” There are several unique and tasty-sounding snacks in this list!
