Are y’all enjoying the swing of back-to-school?
We had our first “group preschool meeting” this week, and it was crazy, but awesome! We’re loving our Rod and Staff pre-K curriculum! If you need a curriculum for little ones, I highly recommend it!
Here are a few things I enjoyed reading this week:
- Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Cake – I know Oreos are the devil, as far as health food goes. But they are (suspiciously?) dairy-free, which means that I could make this delicious cake with coconut ice cream for my milk-allergic son. I mean, for a birthday special treat?!!! Look at the pictures and tell me you’re not drooling.
- College Football Needs A Makeover – I’m not going to pretend I understand everything in this article. But I respect the author, and think it is a thought-provoking read for all those crazy college football fans out there.
- 9 Questions About Syria You Were Embarrassed to Ask – THANK you to whoever wrote this! So helpful.
- And my favorite post from last week’s link-up…6 Ways to Feed Your Soul When You Don’t Have the Time. Thanks for posting, Whitney!

Oreos and coconut milk ice cream was exactly what I had in mind when I saw that cake on Pinterest too!
