Okay, I’m going to do you the biggest favor anyone has done you this week. Raise your hand if you have been feeling tired.
I see you all!
I always feel more fatigued in the winter months, and I guess I thought it was just me. Recently, however, everywhere I look I see articles, blogs, and pins on Pinterest for fatigue-fighters. Apparently it’s common in winter! It took a tip from a friend’s blog post to point out the obvious – Vitamin D deficiency.
Maybe this is common knowledge to you, but let me ask – have you been taking your Vitamin D? Scroll to the bottom of this post for my recommendation. I have used both drops and capsules, but I believe one is more effective than the other. You can see my choice below.
Here’s your quote for today:
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. {The Bible : Hebrews 12:11} .
Is something in your life disciplining you? Are you facing hardships? It might be *self-imposed* like our 40-Day Fitness Challenge, or it may be something external you can’t change.
Either way, cliche as it may be, it’s true : Hardships and discipline produce character in our lives. There is purpose in the difficulties we face. As a Christian, I believe that God Himself is using these things in our lives. I’ve seen it to be true, too.
How did your first week of working out go? Personally, I’m so enjoying Fit2Be. I’ve missed it!!
Now, as I promised, go buy some of this Vitamin D magic! Take double the recommended dose, and I promise, you will start perking up in a day or two! I was literally falling asleep standing up a few weeks ago, and after taking this I certainly feel much more alert. I don’t even take a nap everyday, even though I’m not getting a full night’s sleep!
