Be A Different Kind Of Mom

Giveaway of Two of My Favorite Books!

By jessica 13 Comments

Sally Clarkson

Although I love to read, there is actually a very short list of mothering books that I *love.* I guess I’m picky. I’m thrilled this week to be giving away two books that I love, by one of my favorite Christian authors, Sally Clarkson.

These books are:

MinistryOfMotherhoodresize

The Ministry of Motherhood

Mission of Motherhoodresize

The Mission of Motherhood

Here’s what I have to say about these books.

  1. They are easy and pleasant to read. Not boring.
  2. You will set them down feeling refreshed and encouraged about what you are doing as a mom, and why you’re doing it.

Sally is full of been-there, done-that wisdom. She remembers how difficult it is to raise young ones, but reminds you of the massive importance of a mother’s job. Few things have motivated me and encouraged me as much as Sally’s words have! I also attended her conference last spring, and learned so much from that!

Not a mom? Kids already raised?

I can’t think of a more perfect Christmas or baby shower gift for a young mom than these two books!

I’ll be giving away a hard copy of each of these books to one winner. Click below to win!

This is a great Giveaway! When I first became a parent someone recommended “Educating the Wholehearted Child to me.” It’s a GREAT book! I’d love to read these and then pass them on.

I’m reading The Mission of Motherhood right now, and love it. I also just finished Desperate by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson. That was one of the best mothering books I’ve ever read. This is a fantastic giveaway!!

We have little disposable income and I have really just learned about Sally Clarkson, so no I have not read her books but I do read from her online. I like that she gets us to look at the heart of the issue rather than stressing over the outward actions.
