These are gift ideas straight from the horse’s mouth… 😉 I had a bunch of teen boys writing this list for me! Brilliant plan! These are the games, tools, and items we use all the time around here!

Sports and Games

  • Mini Soccer Goals: Play real soccer on the go! Big enough for serious competition but calisable for easy storage!
  • Football Flags: An easy and fun way to play without tackling!
  • Pickleball net: We just got one at the farm and everyone is LOVING it
  • Wiffleball: same!
  • KanJam
  • Cornhole
  • Spikeball
  • Laser Tag: these are a massive hit for partie
  • Koosh Paddles
  • Roller Blades
  • Dude Perfect Water Bead Blaster
  • Nerf Rival Gun
  • Faux Bow: my son used this until the arrows broke and then we bought more LOL
  • Mini Drone with Camera
  • RC Car– this has been on my son’s list for over half his life. Haha.
  • Kubb yard game: this is the new favorite with the cousins
  • Whittling Kit and Book (this is the book that taught my son to whittle)

Camping

  • Axe
  • Hatchet
  • CKRT knife: A high-end knife that’s worth the cost when you know your son is able to handle it
  • MORAKNIV knife. A good quality fixed blade knife at a low price.
  • Paracord
  • Hammock: all the boys have these and love them
  • Hammock Rain Tarp : essential for all-weather camping
  • Quality Sleeping Bag
  • Camping Backpack
  • BB Gun *with supervision 🙂
  • .22 Cal Air Gun same
  • Bow and Arrow – great for beginners
  • Outdoor Survival Kit
  • Tactical Fanny Pack – the cousins got these for Christmas from my mom and use them a lot
  • MORA knife

Indoor games

  • Rubik’s Speed Cube and this is the book that taught my boys to solve it: Double Dangerous Book for Boys
  • Code Names – hours have been played of this game!
  • Five Crowns – our family’s favorite!
  • Ticket to Ride – actually no! this is 🙂
  • Cascadia = super fun, along the lines of Catan but more complicated, in a good way
  • Pandemic – the boys also really loved this. It’s like Catan as well.
  • Worldle Game – if you have fans of the app, this is fun

  • Telestrations – this is really fun for a wide age or a large group
