Note from Jessica: My sister Julie makes the BEST food. I’m proud she’s sharing here 20 recipes she’s making this fall. I promise you – try these! They’re as good as they look. Thanks for sharing, Julie. 🙂
It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. Students and parents everywhere are preparing to go back to school – or have already started back. For so many of us, this means our lives get much, much busier! In order to avoid some stress at the end of my busy days, I absolutely have to meal plan. But the hardest part for me is finding family friendly recipes that fit in our allergy-friendly diet.
To help make my life a little easier, I came up with a list of 20 delicious and uncomplicated recipes (that also happen to be free of the “top 8 allergens” – milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soy). Most of these recipes use only whole food ingredients – meats, vegetables, fruits, and not highly processed pantry staples, so they are a perfect for those of us trying to stick to real food meal plans as well.
One thing to note: Four of these recipes include pasta or are delicious served over pasta. Feel free to substitute your favorite gluten-free pasta or serve with zucchini noodles.
