Stella & Dot Review and Giveaway!

NOTE: This giveaway is now CLOSED. Winner will be announced here Wednesday, Feb. 12 and also be alerted via email. Thanks for entering! Contact Kristy if you want the latest special deal!

Disclosure: I was given Stella and Dot pieces to review for this article. All opinions and thoughts are mine.

I was thrilled when Kristy from Stella and Dot contacted me about reviewing some jewelry! I have had my eye on this beautiful line of jewelry for awhile, but never had the chance to actually wear it. Oh, boy, I can see why ladies love it!

Kristy passed along the Sardinia pendant and earrings for me to review. I knew I was onto something good when I saw the stinkin’ cute boxes they arrived in.

s and d box

I’ve been wanting a longer statement necklace, and this one is gorgeous.

necklace

I think this necklace will look reeaaally awesome in the summer when I’m nice and tan (hypothetically, of course) and I wear it with my sleeveless maxi dresses. It’s just a beautiful piece. Gorgeous, but not so elegant that you’d feel silly wearing it out to dinner or to a friend’s house for a party. You know what I mean?

What’s amazing about all of these pieces is that they are versatile and changeable. The pendant on this necklace can be removed easily for a completely different look.

without pendant

The earrings are just as beautiful, and also changeable. Here they are in all their glory.

me in earrings

The earrings are long, but I like a little bling. Or I used to anyways. Nowadays, I like a little nap. And a little yoga pants. Same thing. Here are the three options for these earrings:

I love these earrings in the plain studs, actually, and when I wear the necklace, I’ll just wear the studs with the necklace. Perfect.

I had the HARDEST time selecting these pieces. There are so many breath-taking pieces in the New Arrivals for Spring. I almost chose the Mallorca pieces…

mallorca

Aren’t they gorgeous?

I am also crazy in L.O.V.E. with this bracelet. I feel like if I wore this bracelet, I would all of a sudden be 20x cooler. I mean, I already am pretty cool, what with the orange juice that my scarf sucked up from breakfast, and the dried blueberries caked on my slippers. So it’s hard to beat that. But this could.

There are a couple of ways YOU can enjoy this stylish jewelry.

  1. Browse the Stella and Dot line and request a piece for Valentine’s or Mother’s Day.
  2. Host a Stella and Dot trunk show, and earn around $250-$300 of free product (that’s what Kristy said is the average hostess reward!). Eat appetizers, chat, try on jewelry, and earn free product. That actually sounds fun to me. Contact Kristy for more information on hosting a trunk show. Kristy is located in the southeast US, and she travels!
  3. Become a Stella and Dot stylist – I’ll be honest – I typically glaze over these “become a rep” opportunities. I was intrigued by Kristy’s story, though! Here’s a little bit of it:

I love Stella & Dot because it gives you complete flexibility to do whatever you want with your business. There are women who are attorneys and doctors who are Stella & Dot stylists just because they love the line, they love the business aspect of it, and they love meeting fabulous women.  S&D has a network of amazing women who all help each other out… It not only has brought us a much larger extra income than I was expecting, it’s also given me the opportunity to do something that is my own, and make those awesome friendships.

I started receiving emails from my now-Director after I was invited to a trunk show. One day I got an email about “how to become a stylist” and I was intrigued. I had no idea that Stella & Dot was direct sales, and I had always been a huge fan of the line.  I looked into it more and thought, “what the heck??” I signed up in September and by November I sold $8,000 worth of product! You make 25% – 30% commission! Once I saw how much I could do with it, I started working harder to make it a business and am hoping to grow it even more this year! It’s crazy to make money with something you enjoy so much!
*Note: This month, if you sign up to be a stylist for $199, you receive $350 in free product, and this awesome bag!

Jessica, those pieces look great on you. I received a pair of Stella & Dot earrings several years ago as a teacher’s gift (don’t you miss those?!?!) & I absolutely love them. I sent Kristy my info & am so glad to finally have a Stella & Dot contact person. I am definitely a necklace gal & I especially love how you can change them out to work with different outfits!
